AQT90 FLEX opens up for a new and better way of measuring Troponin T at the point of care
Radiometer has added the cardiac marker Troponin T* (TnT) to its AQT90 FLEX immunoassay analyzer for the use at the point of care. According to Radiometer President Peter Kürstein, the new marker enables healthcare professionals to improve processes in emergency rooms and labs, ultimately helping hospitals improve patient care and reduce costs.

Radiometer has joined the United Nation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative Global Compact. By joining Global Compact, Radiometer has committed itself to making an annual “Communication On Progress Report” in regards to the United Nation’s Global Compact’s ten principles within human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

Radiometer's 1st automatic optimizes blood gas testing at University Hospital Erlangen in Germany
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the University Hospital Erlangen implemented Radiometer's 1st automatic solution in May 2008 and has reduced time spent on testing by 20-30 minutes per sample flow leaving more time for patient care.

Roche Diagnostics grants Radiometer nonexclusive rights for NT-proBNP and Troponin T
Roche Diagnostics and Radiometer Medical announced today that Radiometer has been granted a nonexclusive license under patent rights of Roche Diagnostics to commercialize NT-proBNP (N-terminal prohormone B-type natriuretic peptide) and Troponin T on Radiometer’s AQT90 FLEX POC immunoassay platform.
