Easy-to-operate instruments
With Radiometer, you can enjoy cartridge-based, easy-to-operate instruments within blood gas testing, on the ABL90 FLEX, and testing of cardiac, coagulation and infection markers on the AQT90 FLEX. Automated testing in our instruments provides additional ease of use and more time for patient care.
Increased operator safety
Operator safety is another Radiometer focus area. On the AQT90 FLEX both testing and waste disposal are done through a closed system, ensuring that you are never in contact with patient blood or any form of waste.
We have also made sampling safer. Our safePICO blood gas samplers come with unique vented safeTIPCAP that reduces the risk of contact with patient blood, while the attached needle protection device allows the safe removal of the syringe needle without the risk of needle-stick injury.
Continuous training of staff
We can also help you comply with regulatory requirements by ensuring continuous training of staff. Radiometer offers ongoing product training, as well as advanced training covering local regulatory requirements, quality control, sampling, analysis and interpretation of results.
Our training program includes face-to-face courses, self-paced, computer-based modules and a free, non-commercial website - acutecaretesting.org - with more than 200 articles on acute care testing.
Tailored solution for NICUs
Monitoring the status of neonates requires a solution that is both gentle and effective. Radiometer's TCM monitor together with the tinyTeddy sensor is ideal for NICUs, providing continuos transcutaneous pO2 and pCO2 information easily and non-invasively.
For neonatal blood sampling, Radiometer offers CLINITUBES capillaries available in glass and "non-PVC" plastic. The FLEXMODE on the ABL800 FLEX ensures high sample success rate of precious capillary samples by providing the highest number of parameters as reliably possible.
